The course helps pupils become familiar with exam structures and timings, supporting fast, accurate and confident performance. Pupils will also develop effective test technique, learning how to approach different question types, manage their time efficiently and perform under the demands of challenging entrance examinations.
There will be a variety of formats and question styles to reflect the different stages of entry to some of the most academically competitive independent secondary schools at 11+. The course is designed to provide a high level of academic challenge, encouraging pupils to stretch their abilities and engage confidently with demanding material. It focuses on developing the skills required for Round 1 pre-tests, as well as Round 2 English examinations, including both multiple-choice and traditional written formats.
