Our holiday PMC and JMC Workshops  are aimed for those children who wish to challenge themselves and prepare for maths competitions such as PMC and JMC.

PMC (Primary Maths Challenge) Workshop

Inspiring a love of problem-solving for curious young minds


The Primary Maths Challenge (PMC) is a national competition designed to stretch, inspire, and engage primary-aged children who show an early talent or enthusiasm for mathematics. 


Created by the Mathematical Association, the PMC goes beyond curriculum content and encourages students to think creatively, reason logically, and tackle unfamiliar problems with confidence.


Our course is a lively and challenging course to develop problem-solving skills through practice papers, in-depth reviews, and topic-specific teaching on alternate days. Perfect for children aiming for PMC distinction and beyond.



Cost: £600 per course (4 days in August)



JMC Kangaroo Round Workshop

Crack the Code to High Scores in the JMC!


Designed mainly for high-ability students in Years 7 and 8, our 5-day UKMT JMC Course helps children excel in one of the UK’s most prestigious national maths competitions. 


Please note this May half term course is to prep for the JMC Kangaroo round which will happen in June.


The Junior Maths Challenge (JMC) by the UK Mathematics Trust tests logic, problem-solving, and mathematical creativity—not just textbook knowledge. This course equips students with the tools, strategies, and confidence to tackle the unique style of JMC questions with skill and flair.


Our course uses a mix of past papers, detailed review sessions, and topic-specific teaching on alternating days. It is designed to:

  • Builds advanced problem-solving skills
  • Strengthens mathematical logic and reasoning
  • Teaches smart strategies for tackling tricky questions
  • Increases accuracy under pressure
  • Develops the confidence to tackle unfamiliar challenges independently
